Haidakhandi Samaj (UK) Arati & Annual General Meeting

You are invited to our Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Glastonbury. An opportunity to gather in the community, reflect on the last 12 months, appoint new committee members and make plans for the year ahead.

The purchase of our land was one step toward developing our 'Nature Ashram' and to support the ongoing development of this project and as a registered charity we must ensure we fulfill all our legal obligations. An important part of this is meeting annually to approve the accounts and elect committee members.

All are welcome to attend this gathering on Sunday 26th October 2025 from 8:30am at Sivani Mata’s home in Glastonbury (please register your interest for address). There will be an opportunity to join together in our devotion through Arati, followed by a light breakfast (if you feel inspired please bring things to share). We will then sit down for our AGM, which should take no more than 2 hours. You can register your interest by emailing om@sivanimata.co.uk. Please register your interest to receive the full address in Glastonbury.

New Committee Members

There are lots of ways to help and support Babaji's charity in the UK. Please be in touch if you'd like to volunteer.

One way is to join the charity's committee - there are roles with specific responsibilities such as Chair, Treasurer and Secretary and also Regular Committee members to assist with ad-hoc projects and the general day-to-day running of a charity. Some of the skills we are looking for in particular are strong financial skills, experience in project management or running a charity, fundraising experience and building planning applications. This role requires dedication and commitment to the aims of the charity and if you are interested we'd encourage you to speak to an existing committee member in advance of submitting your application.

Please read the links below to role descriptions and application form so you know what is involved. Also note, that we need your application no later than the evening of Monday 6th October. Please send it to info@ukbabaji.com. Together with a description of 100-200 words say why you want to stand for any given role and what you might be able to offer. By law, we can have several members standing for any role so if you feel called then let us know.
